In the problem infinite stars, we were trying to find the are of each figure as the pattern repeats. We were given the information that the orange triangle had an area of 1 unit squared. This meant that the pink smaller triangles were 1/9 of the orange triangle because you could fit 9 of them into it. We used a similar process to find the area of each one.
2. How is your work here representative of this habit? Identify specific parts that show the "habit in action."
Being systematic and organized helped me a lot through this problem. As you can see in the picture above, I used different colors to organize the different shapes of triangles. This made it easier for me to count the number of triangles and find the area easier. Clearly, being systematic and organized helped me figure out this problem easier and more effectively.

This habit helped me keep everything organized and easy to read. Without the colors on the shape, it looked confusing and very complicated. But with the colors, it made it easier to read and easier to solve.
